Each year, as the season starts and Cooper and I begin to think about the cause/organization we would like to highlight during the My Cause, My Cleats campaign, we like to sit down and intentionally pray that God guide us and impress on our hearts the specific cause He has for us each year. This is not something that we take lightly, as there are so many worthy causes.
This year it was very evident that we would be highlighting the fight to end Human Trafficking. As we started researching specific organizations, Forever Found really stood out to us. We truly appreciate the work Forever Found does right here in our community (and abroad, in India), and could see how pure their desire was to help innocent children impacted by trafficking. The mission of Forever Found, specifically, is to prevent, rescue, and restore child trafficking victims.
It was not easy to choose just one organization, as there are many incredible organizations that work tirelessly to combat the evil that is human trafficking. We are so thankful for all the men and women who dedicate their lives to rescuing, restoring, and loving on the victims impacted by this form of slavery.
I would highly encourage you to educate yourself on how prevalent this form of modern slavery is and ask yourself how you can support the fight against it. We see God moving through His people in the fight against human trafficking and ask that you come alongside us in prayer for those with feet on the ground.
